The foundations of Hayat Holding are laid with a texting shop opened by brothers Fahri and Avni Kiğılı in Sultanhamam, Istanbul.

Kastamonu Entegre was established in Istanbul to operate in the wood-based panel industry.

Kastamonu Particle Board Factory, the first production facility of Kastamonu Entegre, started operations in 1971.

Hayat made its first investment in the home care category with a detergent factory. Bingo and Test brands were launched.

First exports were made to Russia and Iraq under the Bingo brand.

Turkey's first continuous MDF factory within Kastamonu Entegre was commissioned in Gebze.
